The Advanced Seminar in Falls Church meets for two days, twice a year, for the benefit of those traveling from a distance.  It is scheduled for the two days preceding the Bowen Center spring and fall meetings. 
Prerequisite: three years of the Extraordinary Leadership Seminar.

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
In case Shenandoah University is closed, your small group leader will call you, informing you of the location where the seminar will meet at a nearby location.  Be sure your small group leader has your cell phone number (and that you have his/her home and/or cell number).

  • VIRGINIA UNITED METHODIST CLERGY
VA UMC clergy can apply to be subsidized through the Office of Ministerial Service by downloading an application for funding from the www.vaumc.org Clergy Development Application.  Please note: applications must be submitted and reviewed.  Funding is not guaranteed.  Contact person is Rev. Beth Downs.

  • SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR UNITED METHODIST DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENTS.
